Product care
How to care for women's clothing made of different fabrics
To keep your favorite clothes looking good and lasting for a long time, it is important to follow the rules for caring for each type of fabric. Below we have collected recommendations for the main types of materials.
Staple
-Washing: Hand or machine wash on delicate mode at a temperature of up to 30°C.
-Drying: Avoid machine drying. It is recommended to dry flat on a horizontal surface.
-Ironing: Iron at a low temperature (up to 110°C) on the inside.
-Features: Staple has the property of shrinking (shrinking) after the first wash, this is normal.
Cotton
-Washing: Machine wash at a temperature of up to 40°C. Use mild detergents.
-Drying: Can be dried outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight.
-Ironing: Iron at medium temperature (up to 150°C).
-Special features: Cotton products can wrinkle and shrink slightly after washing. To avoid this, dry flat.
Knitwear
-Washing: Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle at a temperature of up to 30°C. Use mild detergents.
-Drying: Dry flat on a horizontal surface to avoid deformation.
-Ironing: If necessary, iron inside out through the fabric at a low temperature.
-Special features: May pill due to friction, especially on the sleeves or side seams. Knitwear may also shrink slightly after washing.
Synthetic fabrics (polyester, viscose, elastane, etc.)
-Washing: Machine wash on a delicate cycle at a temperature of up to 30°C. Avoid harsh bleaches.
-Drying: Do not tumble dry. Dry in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight.
-Ironing: Most synthetic fabrics do not require ironing. If necessary, set the iron to the lowest temperature.
-Special features: Synthetic fabrics rarely change size, but viscose may shrink slightly after washing.
Silk
-Washing: Hand wash only in cold water using special products for silk.
-Drying: Dry flat on a towel. Avoid wringing.
-Ironing: Iron inside out at low temperature, preferably through the fabric.
-Special features: Silk is very sensitive to friction and sunlight. It may slightly change size after washing, so follow the recommendations.
Linen
-Washing: Machine or hand wash at a temperature of up to 40°C.
-Drying: Dry naturally. Linen is prone to wrinkles, so it is best to dry it flat.
-Ironing: Use high heat with steam function.
-Features: Linen has a natural tendency to shrink after washing, especially at high temperatures.
What you need to know about pilling and fabric shrinkage
Pilling:
Can form on fabrics that are prone to friction, such as knitwear, wool, staple or blended materials.
This is not a defect in the product, but a natural phenomenon. Use a fabric trimmer to remove them.
Fabric shrinkage:
Staples, cotton, linen, and other natural fabrics may shrink slightly after the first wash.
To minimize shrinkage, follow the washing and drying recommendations.
